OVERVIEW

CenterHEAD is a multi-disciplinary group of researchers located at institutions in the United States, Asia and Latin America involved in the design, collection and analysis of socio-economic and health survey data. This includes longitudinal household surveys, surveillance studies and intervention studies.
The research team spans the health and social sciences with the majority of the research lying at the intersection of these disciplines. Much of the focus of the work is on low income settings with special emphasis on China, Indonesia, Mexico and Southern Africa.
The work has been funded by, among others, the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, CONACYT, Government of Mexico, United States Agency for International Development Global Development Network, World Bank, World Health Organization, United Nations Fund for Population, Ford Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, MacArthur Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation.
